MANILA, Philippines – Max’s Group, Inc. (MAX) plans on spreading its pizza segment in Middle East following its Silver Group deal.
The company has sealed an agreement with Silver Group in order to build Yellow Cab Pizza stores in Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. The development will include at least 22 branches in five years from January 2017.
Robert F. Trota, Max’s Group President and Chief Executive Officer, stated that the company is delighted with the business opportunity of an expansion in the region of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). As Yellow Cab Pizza continues to become as most in demand brand in the pizza segment, the international business of the company grows assertively.
Trota added that the expansion will be maintained as long as franchising fuels overseas growth with essential structure and support systems.
For this year, Silver Group development agreement is the seventh of Max’s overseas deals. In total, there are 153 outlets to be opened in the coming years.
Trota claimed that Silver Group led the effective marketing of the company’s pizza segment in Middle East. The group also expresses sincerest appreciation of its partner’s continued trust to Yellow Cab Pizza. Their earlier success in Qatar is aimed to be mirrored by surrounding nations.
Abdulrahman Al-Kaabi, Silver Group Chief Executive Officer, stated that the two companies believe that Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain are markets were Yellow Cab could achieve Qatar-like results. Al-Kaabi also stated that it is their goal to provide the best quality pizza and customer service in Gulf region.
There is a network of 145 Yellow Cab Pizza branches overseas, which is composed of two in China, one in United Arab Emirates, and seven in Qatar. Plans for opening outlets in Hawaii, Egypt, Jordan, and Singapore are also underway.
Max’s Group is the largest operator of casual dining segment in the Philippines. It has a family of brands including Yellow Cab Pizza, Pancake House, Max’s Restaurant, Krispy Kreme, and Max’s Corner Bakery among others.
